We look at what the old system really does — not the manual, the daily use. Code, database, spreadsheets: we take everything there is.

Data model

We design the new structure so the old data fits completely — quirks included.

First version

Within weeks the new system runs the most important processes on a test copy of your data.

Parallel run

Both systems see the same data. We compare and fix until every number matches.

Step 5

Switch-over

Live data comes across once, for good; the old system stays archived. Training, documentation, 12 months of warranty.

Our commitment. On switch-over day every record that existed in the old system exists in the new one — and you keep an archived copy of the old system. If anything is missing, we fill the gap at no charge.

What people ask before a rewrite

Can you take the data across if we do not have the source code?
Yes. The data is usually reachable from the database, an export or the interface even when the code is not. In the assessment we check what exists and how it comes across.
How long does it take?
A website 2–4 weeks, a webshop a matter of weeks, the first version of a business system 3–4 weeks, then we extend it. The parallel run takes time, but the switch-over itself is one day.
Does the company have to stop during the switch-over?
No. The old system runs until switch-over day, and the data was already moved on a test copy earlier. The live switch is typically a weekend or a night.
How much does it cost?
Old website from €400, webshop from €2,600, business software from €5,000, custom application from €3,000 — one-time fee, you own the source code. You get an itemised quote after the assessment.
What happens to the old system?
It stays with you as an archived, switched-off copy. If anything ever needs checking, it is there.
Will it look the same?
If you want: for a website the look can stay while the engine changes. For business software the processes stay, but the interface moves to today’s devices — usually the part your colleagues enjoy most.
